Halcyon days ?

this blog author as a newsreel (B.C.I.N.A.-Visnews) dispatch rider in the 60s.seemed a brilliant and well paid job at first but actually was cold,wet and highly dangerous in reality with a lot of boredom thrown in. Never the less it was about bikes and some sheer enjoyment at times to balance out the bad stuff. It was also great for chasing birds as they used to say.I did it for five years and was still alive at the end.(And lucky)
