Dear GeraldGee, love that photo! Thinking about past times I often wonder that they are - in my memory - not THAT far away - when a Very Young Person comments on the 80's one could get the impression that they are speaking of antediluvian times. And in TV they are starting to use times I remember well (Frankfurt prostests against Startbahn West e.g. as bizzare historical background). As another birthday is nearing for me, I start using my dearest friend's Stephen Russells saying "For those young at heart". With that young heart I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Britta
It's like a comic strip. A complete story and a crazy dog.
ReplyDeleteBest time to live....The 50s and 60s.
ReplyDeleteFew dogs are that thin these days.
ReplyDeleteYes, I think you're right. The past is another country. It's nice to look back at the souvenirs.
ReplyDeleteWow! I love this photo.... such a moment in time
ReplyDeleteWe were on the way back from the Henekeys pub garden after a mornings pint I remember.

Is it my imagination, or were those days more fragrant, in more ways than one?
