I love this! I could almost imagine Lou walking from the right, crossing puddles, and casting her reflection on the damp sand . She looks ready for flight! Maybe she said 'Hurry up, Gerald!'
It is the geometric patterns that first capture the eye (almost like one of those diagrams from a school maths book) but it is the colours that remain in the mind. They add an extra element.
