I love wood-and-sized-canvas aeroplanes. I can understand how they work, though it would be hairy flying in them.
Such a shame they became a deadly war weapon..why didnt they just race them?
What a narrow undercarriage. Rather tricky in windy weather. Maybe the meaning of "Coming in on a wing and a prayer?brocolanonymous.
My grandpa was told off for looping the loop over the hospital where his soon to be wife worked as a nurse...and he shot rabbits from them.
In fact I'll look for him in his log book.
