A great sound! Great that you stopped by. Do hope you are over the flu by now. Don't know what the other is for - nonetheless, hope it works for you. Do you remember STYX (Mr. Harding) - I have two or three original cartoons of his, unsigned. Is there a cartoon museum to which I could send them, I wonder?
This is intriguing. It seems like someone has grafted a chunk of what sounds like Bessie Smith in place of Ellington's original middle eight. I attempted some research via Spotify, but unfortunately they don't seem to have caught up with the Boswells yet!
Margaret. http://www.cartoonstock.com/directory/s/styx.asp Not sure about value if unsigned though. Tim Amazed that spotify has no Boswell Sisters. Thank god for YouTube !
Very much so,. Landlord was Ivon Pullen,my father painted the rose on the sign outside and as kids we used to pinch the empty bottles round the back and go to the front to reclaim the money on them. This was way back in the late forties.
On prescription by chance?
