    Fascinating.
    I hadn't seen this before, but I think I know how it works.
    Whatever combination of two digits you choose, if you follow the instructions, and deduct both from the original, you will always come up with a multiple of 9, eg, 9, 18, 27, 36, etc. If you look at the chart you will find that every multiple of nine has the same gift, not necessarily the same gift each time you do it, but always the multiples of 9 will be identical items ....... Check it out.
