Dear Gerald, I love black and white photographs like yours: the many degrees of light, dark and grey give room for imagination. When we had black and white TV, I didn't miss the colour (sometimes I am very astonished to see an old James Bond in colour - at that time we had not the right TV set (it was when colour TV had those awful red faces). When the first people from the DDR came to Western Germany Nina Hagen sang: "It is all so beautiful colourful here!"- but I wonder. Gaudy is hectic.
