Taken way back in the 60s with my trusty Rolleiflex
camera. My son seen wandering off as was his wont.
This was taken in Kensington gardens, the round pond
just over the slope. As you can see not a high rise
building in sight, the park then was just like being in
the countryside. My friend walking towards was at
the time an aspiring fashion model but ended up
as so many, decorating an office in the BBC.

Barefoot in the park Eh? Is she someone now famous at the BBC?
ReplyDeleteYour son looks like he is trying to escape Dad's camera.

became an antique dealer.my son was forever going off to talk to anybody nearbye very un pc these days but quite OK then...what happened?
ReplyDeleteSomeone less looking like an antique dealer I have yet to see!
ReplyDeleteMy kids always would talked to everyone too, and I did the same to other kiddies. As you say, these days that's a very No No thing to do. Such a shame. I have leant down to talk to a child in a pushchair recently, only to have the mother snatch the pram out of reach. I thought better of talking to the mother and pointing out I was a Grandmother to 10 and there was surely no harm being done.... not worth the argument, methought.
Hot day here in the S/E is it with you?
