  2. I have no way of knowing, but I always feel that Modigliani's models must have felt his paintings were very good likenesses. They look like real people while being utterly stylised.Very clever. And your choice of music is haunting.Did you see my poem 'Scudding' featuring one of your lovely landscapes?

  3. Yes Brenda I too think they are probably very good likenesses,Its an odd knack this ability to draw a likeness,I have known people who cant draw properly and not interested in art yet can catch a face and others (like me)who find it very difficult and struggle.
    I would have loved to be a portrait painter but never had the skill.
    Yes I saw your "scudding" poem and felt very honoured. xx

  4. I mentioned before that I love Modigliani.
    One of his very naked nudes used to adorn the wall in my dining room - much to my mother's embarrassment.
    Any idea what the music is?
