Modern motors sadly lack running boardsJust think how nice it would be if in motorway jams one could get out and sit in the sunshine and maybe partake in some light refreshments(non alcoholic),or if the children get noisy during long journeys you could let them play outside.Why were these useful accessories dropped?

ReplyDeleteI remember sitting on the running board of our old Wolseley. I was usually outside the pub with a bottle of lemonade and a packet of crisps.
