Ha, wouldn't that be great to be rewarded for used-car-long-service. Dad had a Chevrolet El Camino back in S Africa. At the time, there was a ditty on the radio about how 'Braaivleis, rugby, sunny skies and Chevrolet.." went together. I had to ride in the back of the Chevrolet, with all the chicken feed and weekly supplies. Very embarrassing, hence - I laid down in the back, as we went through town, hoping no school mates would see me.
I hope he kept his old one, it would be worth more in the long run... (excuse the pun)
